Description

The SNAP B3000-B is a serial brain module from OPTO 22, designed to control and monitor both analog and digital I/O modules on SNAP B-series mounting racks. Compatible with the mistic protocol, it serves as a direct replacement for the legacy B3000, ensuring seamless integration with FactoryFloor controllers and OptoControl strategies. This compact and reliable brain enables efficient remote I/O management, offering robust performance for industrial automation systems. With support for distributed I/O and straightforward migration paths to newer SNAP PAC systems, the B3000-B is ideal for maintaining and upgrading legacy installations.

Can the SNAP B3000-B be used in new systems?While the SNAP B3000-B can be used to replace older B3000 models, for new SNAP PAC systems, it is recommended to use the SNAP PAC S-series brains (SNAP-PAC-SB1 and SB2).
