It is specifically designed for accurate measurement of radial and axial shaft displacement in critical rotating machinery, particularly turbomachinery such as steam, gas, and hydro turbines, as well as compressors, pumps, and fans.This sensor operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction, providing a non-contact measurement, which eliminates wear and ensures a long service life. Its robust construction is engineered to withstand the demanding and often harsh environmental conditions found in industrial settings, including significant temperature variations and vibration levels.
