Description

The IS200VTURH2BAC is a GE Vibration Transducer Interface Module integral to Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. This module provides essential turbine overspeed protection through three safety levels: control, primary, and emergency. It utilizes closed-loop speed control via fuel or steam valves for control protection, while primary protection is managed by the controller. Shaft speed signals are processed through the TTUR terminal board and VTUR I/O board, allowing for median selection. In case of a trip condition, the module sends a signal to the TRPG terminal board, effectively removing power from the trip solenoids via a 2/3 voting mechanism across relay circuits. This design significantly enhances operational safety and reliability in gas turbine applications.
