Description

IC697BEM733C is a Genius Remote I/O Scanner for the GE 90-70 Series that mounts in a remote IC697 rack and interfaces IC697 I/O modules to an IC66* bus. Features include a location distance of 7500 feet or 2275 meters from the controller. It supports both discrete and analog I/O modules as well as PCM, ADS, and analog expander modules. The IC697BEM733 can handle up to 128 input/output bytes per remote drop (comprised of a remote I/O scanner and the corresponding modules). A remote drop can include a maximum of eight racks, which are linked by a bus transmitter and a bus receiver. Racks with 9 or 5 slots are appropriate. The distance from the first rack to the last in a remote drop is no more than 50 feet or 15 meters.
