GE IS200EISBH1AAB Circuit Board

The IS200EISBH1AAB circuit board fits into the Mark VI Speedtronic system.  This is a gas/steam turbine management series that was created and originally distributed by General Electric.  Speedtronic systems have been in use since the late 1960s in various iterations.   The Mark VI includes Ethernet capabilities and can be built as either a Simplex or TMR (triple modular redundant) system to meet the size and complexity of the associated turbine system.

The IS200EISBH1AAB is an Exciter ISBus board that is typically used within EX2100 excitation control. This type of control uses 21- or 13-slot VME card racks control modules.  The control module is designed to communicate with the Mark VI PC-based HMI, which allows the user to access data (analog and digital) in a single location, including high-resolution time tags for alarms/events.

The IS200EISBH1AAB is used to manage all fiber-optic communications within the cabinet.  It uses fiber-optic feedback signals (inputs and outputs) that are transmitted through its backplane connector.  The board also accepts voltage and current signals via six fiber-optic connectors that are on its front faceplate.   These connectors are labeled “Gen Field,” “Exciter,” (both for voltage and current,) and “Gnd Detect.”   The front faceplate is marked with the board id number and the GE Logo.
