Crucially, it's designed to meet the intrinsic safety requirements for hazardous (Ex) areas, ensuring that the fieldbus wiring in these zones does not have enough energy to ignite flammable gases or dust. • The F802 modules are typically used in pairs (e.g., two F802s in an F880/F890 carrier) to provide redundant power to the fieldbus segments. • The F802 provides a higher output voltage (28V) and current (500mA) compared to its sibling F801 (21.5V, 350mA). |
