Application of ABB DSQC266G



Material Handling and Palletizing: The module connects the robot to sensors on a conveyor belt to detect the presence of parts, or to a gripper that needs to open and close to pick and place objects. 

Welding and Cutting: In welding applications, the DSQC266G can interface with the welding power supply to control the start and stop of the arc. It can also manage signals from a wire feeder or a gas control unit, ensuring the entire process is automated and precise.

Assembly and Machining: For assembly tasks, the module can control pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders used to clamp parts. It can also be used to receive signals from vision systems or other sensors that confirm the correct part is in position before the robot begins an operation.

Machine Tending: The robot can load and unload parts from a CNC machine or injection molding machine. The DSQC266G would handle the signals to open and close the machine's door, and to confirm that the machine is ready for the next part.
