AE6000 F62001 DITTEL-SYSTEM Acoustic Emission Module

Description

The AE6000 F62001 Dittel-System Acoustic Emission Module enhances grinding and dressing processes by utilizing highly sensitive acoustic emission sensors. It monitors grinding stability, detects first contact, and identifies potential issues such as wheel damage or collisions. This system, compatible with AE4000/AE4100, offers flexible integration through Profibus and static interfaces to machine controls. It visualizes signals via LEDs and supports RS232 or Ethernet connections. With auto setup and series setup functionality, it optimizes machine efficiency and improves workpiece quality while enabling real-time process monitoring.

Application

Automated grinding or dressing processes must run safely and stably, and produce a consistent level of workpiece quality. Process monitoring on the basis of highly sensitive acoustic emission sensors combined with the AE6000 evalution unit is the ideal solution to improving process stability. This system can be used to reduce air grinding time, to detect first contact, to detect the first cut during touch dressing, dressing monitoring, grinding process monitoring and wheel damage or collision monitoring.
