1794-AENTR Allen Bradley FLEX I/O EtherNet/IP Adapter

The 1794-AENTR dual port EtherNet/IP adapter module is designed and produced by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and it is part of the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation FLEX I/O series. The 1794-AENTR module is intended as a means for communication between an Ethernet/IP control system and FLEX I/O devices. The module is part of a FLEX I/O system which offers modularity and flexibility, allowing the system to be used for a variety of applications.

 The complete FLEX I/O module is made to be installed on a rack and it is built with components like an adapter, terminal base, and I/O module. The I/O module has a special bus interface and all the circuitry required for operation. Some of the features of the 1794-AENTR module are DIN rail mounting, RSLinx supported communication, half/full duplex 10-megabit or 100-megabit operation, and advanced interfacing through Category 5-rated twisted pair cable.

The 1794-AENTR module does not require network scheduling and routing tables. The 1794-AENTR module operates on an input voltage of 24 Volts DC and it has a maximum capacity of 8 modules. The 1794-AENTR module has components like the FlexBus connector, IP address switches, 24 Volts DC connections and common connections, the module locking tab, the MAC ID label, the network cable RJ45 connectors, and the status indicators.
