The Allen Bradley 1746-IH16 is a general-purpose input module. The 1746-IH16 uses a voltage category of 90-146V DC sink. It has a maximum ON and OFF signal delay of 9ms. The 1746-IH16 input module’s maximum off-state current is 0.8mA and it draws a backplane current of 85mA at 5V and of 0A at 24V. It can be used on general purpose 125V DC inputs. The 1746-IH16’s maximum off-state voltage is 20V DC and its nominal input current is 2.01mA at 125V or 2.25mA at 132V DC. When the 1746-IH16 module is connected in parallel with an inductive load, a surge suppression mechanism should be applied across the load to protect the 1746-IH16 input module from the resulting damage of a reverse voltage situation. |
