Descriptions: The 133396-01 is an Overspeed Detection I/O Module developed by Bently Nevada and is integral to the Bently Nevada 3500/53 Electronic Overspeed Detection System. This system is designed to meet the stringent overspeed protection standards set by the American Petroleum Institute (API) Standards 670 and 612. It features a highly reliable, quick-response redundant tachometer system that forms a critical part of overspeed safety measures. The modules can be configured to create a 2-out-of-2 or 2-out-of-3 voting system, with the latter preferred for enhanced reliability. Installation in a 3500 rack with multiple power sources is necessary for the proper functioning of the Overspeed Detection System. Input Signal Specifications: Each Overspeed Detection module accepts a signal from either a proximity probe transducer or magnetic pickup. The input signal operates within a voltage range of +10.0 V to -24.0 V. Signals that fall outside this range are internally regulated by the module for proper operation.
