Product Description


PROSOFT PLX31-MBTCP-MBS

The ProSoft PLX31-MBTCP-MBS is a Modbus TCP/IP to Modbus Serial gateway with one serial port (RS-232/485/422) and one Ethernet port for remote configuration and diagnostics. It features an SD card slot (SD card not included) for storing configuration files, mounts on DIN rails, and operates on 24V DC power. This module enables high-speed bi-directional data transfer between Modbus TCP/IP-enabled PACs and Modbus Serial devices.

Modbus Protocol Conversion

Provides seamless conversion between Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus Serial (RS-232, RS-485, RS-422) protocols, facilitating communication between different types of Modbus networks and devices.

Communication Ports

Features one serial port and one Ethernet port. The serial port supports RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422 interfaces, while the Ethernet port allows for network connectivity and remote access.

Remote Configuration

Enables remote configuration and diagnostics through the Ethernet port, allowing users to adjust settings and troubleshoot the module from a distance, improving efficiency and reducing maintenance time.

SD Card Slot

Includes an SD card slot for saving and loading configuration files. This feature allows for easy backup and transfer of configuration settings, although the SD card itself is not provided with the module.
