The ODZ Profi 12M G12 Hirschmann Fieldbus Repeater supports all transmission speeds defined by the EN 50170 standard, including 9.6 kBit/s to 12 MBit/s, automatically adjusting to the optimal rate upon receiving a frame. It regenerates signal form and amplitude, allowing up to 122 units to be cascaded in PROFIBUS networks. The repeater detects and adjusts to transmission speed changes during operation. During setup, at least one active bus subscriber is needed to check optical fiber connections, with a port LED providing visual assistance. |
