Description

The GE IS200EISBH1AAA Exciter ISBus Board is a key component in the EX2100 Series Excitation Control System, designed for use with the M1, M2, and C controllers. This single-slot, 3U-high module facilitates the transfer of fiber-optic feedback signals, transmitting data between the DSPX controller and other system components via the control backplane. It also supports communication between the DSPX, tool, and keypad ports using RS-232C through the backbone connector. For redundant exciters, the board includes ISBus interface electronics, GE's proprietary communication protocol.
