IC670CHS003 General Electric Field Control I/O Terminal Block

Description

GE has designed and manufactured the IC670CHS003 terminal block in the Field Control series to adapt to the users’ needs and different wiring preferences. It has been designed to be easy to install with wiring to the board interface. The IC670CHS003 I/O terminal block comes with wire-to-board connectors. As its name suggests, the connections to the inputs on this terminal block are made through wires, normally AWB 16-20 gauge wires, and the terminal block is then interfaced into a GE Fanuc connector for the quick insertion or removal of the I/O modules. The GE Fanuc IC670CHS003 I/O terminal block with wire-to-board connectors accommodates up to 20 independent connection points or pins into a male connector assembly.

Feature

Hot-Swappable Design: This is a primary feature, allowing operators to remove and replace the associated Field Control I/O module without disconnecting field wiring. This significantly reduces downtime during maintenance or module replacement.

Conveyor and Material Handling Systems: Connects photo-eyes, motor starters, and other control elements along conveyor belts and material handling lines, enabling efficient and flexible I/O management across a wide area.

Automated Test Stands: Provides a reliable and easily serviceable connection for instrumentation and control points in automated test environments where frequent reconfigurations or component replacements might occur.
