| Functional Overview | The ProLinx EtherNet/IP (DFNT) driver can be used to interface many different protocols into the Rockwell Automation family of processors as well as other software-based solutions. The DFNT driver supports Client connections as well as Server connections. With the addition of the WEB hardware option, the module also provides HTTP, FTP and Email capability. The Ethernet driver interfaces with a common internal database in the module. This permits the sharing of data across many different networks. Rockwell Automation processors supported on the TCP/IP network include ControlLogix, PLC5 Ethernet and SLC 5/05. |
