The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16P Flex I/O Digital Output Module is a digital output module that comes with 16 non-isolated and protected output circuits. This module belongs to the Flex I/O digital output module family of modules that are designed to transmit binary data to connected output devices in a 2-state data format. The 1794-OB16P Flex I/O Digital Output Module connects directly to a terminal base unit (the recommended base units are the 1794-TB3, 1794-TB2, 1794-TB3S, 1794-TB3SK, and the 1794-TB3K units), which connects it to the I/O bus and connected field devices in the vicinity. |
These terminal base units provide the wiring base for the I/O module, which allows for the safe insertion and removal of the I/O modules under power without disturbing the existing field wiring, other I/O modules, or the system power. The 1794-OB16P Flex I/O Digital Output Module features electronically-protected outputs which automatically shut down the module in the event of a short circuit, overload, or over-temperature situation. |
