he Allen-Bradley 1771-IG TTL input module is part of the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLC 5 series. It needs 2 power sources in order to operate, and these are the I/O chassis backplane that the module is installed in, and a 5 Volts DC rated power supply that the users provide for the transmission of the TTL signals. The 1771-IG TTL input module is not designed to operate with AC voltage or reverse DC voltage. It should only be used with normal DC voltage. The 1771-IG TTL input module should always be protected from electrostatic discharge.
