It is equipped with a key switch on the front panel that allows for a hardware reset of the processor. The key switch offers two positions:Vertical (Running): The CPU is operational and running.Horizontal (Stop/Reset): The CPU is reset, halting operations. Additionally, the CPU module features battery backup circuits for its RAM memory, ensuring that the system's memory is preserved even during power outages. The backup power is supplied through a diagnostic and battery module (DBM) (models 10006/1/1 or 10006/2/) or a single bus driver (SBD) (model 10007/1/1), providing reliable memory retention for continued diagnostics and operation in case of power interruptions. |
