Product Summary


The Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 is an SLC 5/03 central processor unit with 12K user memory and 16K program memory. The processor is capable of supporting 4096 inputs and 4096 outputs. The backplane current at 5V is 500 mA and at 24V is 175 mA. The processor has a very simple and comprehensible interface for easy interaction. Status indicators on the processor include: Run, CPU fault, Forced I/O, Battery Low, RS-232, DH-485. The hardware components include a battery with backup power, a memory module, a key switch, and DH-485 channel ports. An optional feature for the 1747-L532 processor is Flash EPROM backup memory.


The 1747-L532 has a hold-up time of 20 ms - 3 s after loss of power. Exact amounts depend on power supply loading. The maximum current for the processor is 0.5A at 5V dc and 0.175A at 24V. Typical scan time is 1ms/K. This scan time is typical for a 1K ladder logic program. Actual times depend on program size and communication protocol.
